BOLTON WEST MP and two Bury MPs were among those who voted against the new tiered restrictions in this evenings vote.
Chris Green, MP for Bolton West, was one of 53 Conservative MPs who voted against the Covid-19 restrictions.
Earlier today, he said: "This system hasn't work so far and I don't believe its going to work in the future.
"I am shocked and quite surprised in many ways that the labour party dont know enough to be able to support or oppose the Governments position."
Christian Wakeford, MP for Bury South and James Daly, MP for Bury North also voted against the restrictions which won
The division list showed there were 53 Conservative MPs who voted against the Covid-19 restrictions.
They were joined by 15 Labour MPs, eight DUP and two independent MPs, including former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
Tonight's vote saw MPs approve the Covid-19 regulations that implement three tiers of restrictions in England from Wednesday by 291 votes to 78, majority 213.
The new arrangements will come into force tomorrow (December 2), putting 99% of England in the toughest Tier 2 and Tier 3 restrictions, with Greater Manchester facing the highest level of restrictions.
