A HORWICH woman who failed to provide a breath sample to police has been banned from holding a driving licence for 16 months.
Bolton magistrates heard how Lisa Close, aged 50, of Carwood Grove, was asked to provide a sample by police in Bury on May 6.
But she did not do so, the court was told, and admitted she did not have a reasonable excuse for failing to comply.
Close, who initially denied committing the offence, was fined £405 plus £310 in prosecution costs and a £41 victim surcharge.
