A LEADING wholesaler is the latest addition to a busy Bury business park.

Bosses at Youthstar Ltd are said to be relocating part of their North Manchester business to Chamberhall Business Park.

The 40-year-old outfit has signed on for an 11,000 square foot unit at the St Mowden Developments site.

Youthstar specialises in smoking accessories, batteries, toiletries, electricals. medicines and household goods.

Paul Nolan, from Nolan Redshaw, one of the managing agents for the Bury location, has confirmed that the move leaves only limited space left at Chamberhall.

He said: "“This now leaves just two units remaining of 11,000 square feet each, and I am confident that in due course, this site will be fully let.

"The remaining units are available on a long leasehold or occupational lease basis, via joint agents Nolan Redshaw and Knight Frank."

The announcement comes on the back of a raft of new arrivals at Chamberhall in recent weeks.

Last month Premier Textiles, based in Stockport, a leading fabrics importer, took a 15,000 square foot unit there.

This followed Spot Promotions taking up another of the 11,000 square foot units.

The site is already home to other major local occupiers, including JD Sports, TNT and Polyfloor.

Gemma Butler, St Modwen’s development and leasing manager, said then: “The strategic location of Chamberhall Business Park highlights the growing demand in the North West for high-quality industrial and logistics business parks, which is further evidenced through the great selection of major local occupiers who have already joined Phase 1 of the site.

“We look forward to witnessing the continued growth of this appetite for warehousing solutions as we enter Phase 2 of Chamberhall Business Park in the future.”
