Bury set to find out what coronavirus tier it's going to be in
- Bury will find out later today whether the coronavirus rules in place across the borough will change as we head into the new year.
- Health Secretary Matt Hancock is due to outline which areas will see changes to the measures currently in place when he addresses the House of Commons this afternoon.
- Rising infection rates in many areas suggests that all changes will see areas moved up a tier, forcing stricter rules on the people living there.
- Bury is reporting the highest infection rate across all ten boroughs, with 241.9 new cases per 100,000 people.
