A NURSERY group in Bury has snapped up a seventh location as it battles through the pandemic.
Bosses at the Tiddlywinks Nursery Group have confirmed that the Pumpkin Patch Nursery School in Walmersley is their latest addition.
The outfit, which has ts headquarters in Manchester Old Road, already had a presence in Ancoats, Blackley, Clayton, Crumpsall and Higher Blackley.
Financial director Ashley Mihell told the Bury Times: "This is our seventh site and our second location in the area.
"Despite these uncertain times, nurseries have played a huge role in this pandemic by allowing professionals to work, ultimately keeping the economy ticking.
"We are looking forward to the challenge ahead and bringing high-quality childcare to more areas of the Bury region."
Last year their existing Bury nursery was given an outstanding rating by the education watchdog Ofsted.
Inspectors said Tiddlywinks was worthy of top marks in all assessed areas, including leadership, quality of teaching, personal development and outcomes for children.
