NO more coronavirus-related deaths have been announced at the Royal Bolton Hospital, figures have revealed.
NHS England data shows 646 people have died at the hospital since the start of the pandemic after testing positive for Covid-19 in the previous 28 days.
The last death at the hospital linked to the virus took place on Easter Sunday.
Statistics released at 4pm today showed that across the UK an extra 13 people died after having the virus, raising the total number of deaths to 127,100.
There were 152 new cases in Bolton in the week up to Wednesday, April 7, the data showed.
The rate per 100,000 people in the borough who had the virus up to that week stood at 52.9, still much higher than the UK average of 28.7.
In the UK, a further 3,568 new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours.
