M60 J17
TRAFFIC was diverted at Junction 17 on the M60 in Whitefield this morning due to a police incident.
North West Motorway Police closed both the clockwise and anti-clockwise carriageways at around 9.30am.
A diversion was put in place and congestion had built up in the area but now the road has been reopened.
#M60 J17 Clockwise and AntiClockwise. - We are now released the road blocks. The incident has been resolved successfully.
