A BIKER was taken to hospital in a serious condition following a crash in Radcliffe this morning.
The man in his 20s was involved in the crash with a car at around 8am this morning.
The incident occurred in Water Street, close to the junction with Ainsworth Road.
Earlier, Transport for Greater Manchester warned of traffic and congestion, as the incident closed the road in both directions.
The road has since reopened.
A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said: "We were called to an RTC between a car and motorbike.
"The rider, a man in his 20s, has been taken to hospital in a serious condition. 999 call received at 08.04."
Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for comment.
