A BANNED driver has been jailed for 31 weeks after he was caught behind the wheel of a car again after drinking.

Wigan magistrates heard how 45-year-old Krzysztof Galaska, aged 45, of Bolton Road, Radcliffe, had drunk more than three times the legal alcohol limit when he was caught driving an Audi A6 on Chorley Road, Bolton, on May 24.

At the time Galsaka was already subject to a suspended prison sentence for two drink-driving offences, committed in a Maserati and a Jaguar in Manchester in November.

Galsaka pleaded guilty to driving while banned, drink-driving, having no insurance and admitted breaching his suspended prison sentence.

Jailing him, magistrates told him he has a “flagrant disregard” for court orders.

He was also banned from driving for five years and ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge.
