Bury town centre 1965
We know very little about this picture from our archives which comes with the caption 'Bury crossing'.
It was taken in February 1965 and was taken at the Fleet Street and Union Street in Bury town centre, now occupied by the Rock.
Does anyone remember Downham’s on the corner or the William Deacon’s Bank facing it? Share your memories or any photos you may have.
