A survey into the urgent care at the Royal Bolton Hospital has found people are positive about their overall experiences.

More than 300 responses to the 2020 urgent and emergency care survey found that patients felt they were treated with respect and dignity, communications were good with patients advising they felt listened to by doctors and nurses and who to talk to about their care.

4588 said: "It seems that many GPs are sending their patients to A&E instead of seeing them face to face and treating them at the practice which is what happened pre Covid. Doctors are trained to look for non verbal clues as to their patients illness by observing their body language and so on. How can this be done by telephone? "
