AN ACCOUNTANCY firm has taken on a new round of apprentices who it hopes will be starting long careers in the business.

The new starters will be working across the firm's offices in Waterfold House Waterfold Business Park Bury and Greenbank Technology Park, Challenge Way, Blackburn.

They will work across the audit, accountancy, advisory, cloud accounting and tax teams, receiving hands on experience at the firm alongside classroom study as they work towards their qualifications.

PM+M managing partner Jane Parry said: "Recruiting young people and maintaining our apprenticeships programme are integral elements of how we grow and develop the business.

"We are proud that many apprentices stay with us on a permanent basis and it’s always fantastic to see their careers flourish.

"This new intake are all talented individuals with real potential, so we are delighted they are now part of the PM+M team."

The company's Bury office welcomes 18-year-old Ivan Lister, from Rossendale while joining the team in Blackburn are 20 year old Marcus Feeney, from Adlington, 20 year old Jack Groundwater from Preston and 19 year old Deenah Khan, from Rossendale.

Ms Khan said: "PM+M is a hugely respected name in the North West, so myself and my fellow apprentices are really excited about our appointments.

"Our focus is now on maximising this opportunity and to give our careers a kick start."
