A man has been fined over £500 and disqualified from driving after blowing double the drink drive limit on the M6.
Ciprian Avram, 45, was pulled over by police in Charnock Richard while driving a Skoda Octavia on the M6.
He blew 83 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – over twice the legal limit of 35 microgrammes.
Avram of Wellington Road, Blackburn, was fined £576, was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £58 as well as paying £85 to the courts.
He has also been banned from driving for 17 months.
