TWO men were arrested across Bury and Radcliffe Metrolink stations over the course of yesterday evening.

The men were both arrested for separate reasons, with one detained for immigration offences and the other already a wanted man.

A total of nine police officers had been working alongside Metrolink staff covering the two stations over Monday evening.

Greater Manchester Police have also claimed that aside from the arrests, their presence helped to reassure passengers and make them feel safe.
