Power cut: An outage has hit homes in Ramsbottom
A POWER cut has left more 1,400 people without electricity this morning.
Utilities company Electricity North West first reported the outage in Ramsbottom around the BL0 area at around 7.25am on Tuesday morning.
Initially a total of 1,431 customers were reported to have been impacted.
According to Electricity North West, engineers were dispatched to the site to deal with the problem.
Within an hour the number of impacted customers was reduced significantly to 296.
The utilises firm estimates that power will be fully restored between 9.25am and 10.25am.
