A man was arrested yesterday evening as police patrolled Bury, Radcliffe and Whitefield Metrolink stations.
The 27-year-old was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and was dealt with by a fixed penalty notice.
Police also dealt with a 15-year-old boy who conduct rasied concern for the public.
Greater Manchester Police are also working alongside Bury Council, Transport for Greater Manchester and Metrolink UK to keep the public safe on the transport system.
