RAMSBOTTOM Concert Orchestra has restarted rehearsals.
Band members meet every Thursday and are working on Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, Selections from South Pacific, Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony, Overture Merry Wives of Windsor and Emperor Waltz by Strauss.
All string players are welcome to join the orchestra, described as a friendly group, as well as oboe, bassoon and French horn players.
The group meets at St Francis House, Hebburn Drive in Brandlesholme. Although no concerts are planned, band members can rehearse music together in a well ventilated environment. For more details ring 0161 761 2985.
