BURY Hospice’s ‘Strictly’ fundraiser competition is making a return with Coronation stars Joe Dettine and his fiancée co-star Sally Carman as judges.
Sally, an ambassador and chief fundraiser for the hospice, persuaded Joe, to join the judges.
Joe, an actor from West Yorkshire, who plays Tim Metcalfe in the popular soap, said: “I’ve definitely got the best seat watching and judging.
“Dancing is not my forte as far as I know but my hat goes off to all the fabulous contestants who left their comfort zone to put their best foot forward for Bury Hospice.”
Deborah Lisle, hospice trustee and Strictly organiser, added: “We are delighted to introduce Joe as our newest judge to Bury Hospice’s Strictly Best Foot Forward 2021. To have Sally and Joe judging is amazing and our contestants will be delighted.”
This is the biggest annual event in the hospice’s fundraising calendar, helping to raise thousands of pounds to provide end-of-life care to patients and their families. To support by sponsoring a couple visit www.justgiving.com/campaign/burystrictly2021.
