People across the nation are being urged to once again officially make Bury Market the nation's favourite.
Bury is one of this year's promising candidates for the Great British Markets Awards 2022, run by the National Association of British Market Authorities.
The deadline for voting is Monday December 13, and anyone cast a vote every day between now and then at https://nabma.com/vote-for-britains-favourite-market-2022/.
The borough's iconic marketplace traces its origins to the 1440s, and its 370 stalls and three sits - the Market Hall, Outdoor Market and the Fish and Meat Hall - continue to attract millions and win numerous accolades.
Bury Council has recently won £20 million from the Levelling Up Fund and will be building a new multi-purpose flexi-hall and improvements to the market area.
Cllr Charlotte Morris, cabinet member for the economy, said: "Bury Market is the jewel in Bury's crown, something all our visitors already know.
"Now it's time to make it official again, and have the market once more crowned as the nation's favourite.
"You can vote once a day, every, up until December 13 - so let's do it."
