Two mums from Bury have combined their skill for marketing and creativity to launch a new business which aims to change the face of camping.

Rebecca Warwick, who runs Fairy Godmothers Pamper Palace, and Vicki Box have started Bellisima Camping, a new range of lightweight patterned tents, designed to add colour and sparkle to outdoor trips.

The pair started the venture over lockdown, while educating their children from home and fighting boredom, when they noticed a gap in the market for tents that can be easily transported and quickly assembled by one person.

As the pandemic went on, they designed patterns using lightweight materials that saved space and found companies to help bring them to life, launching the business on social media.

They hope to make family camping easier for parents, but also want their tents to be used by young people and VIPs at festivals.

Ms Warwick said: “Starting a new business is a daunting process, but we have such a passion for the outdoors and we’re hoping that it’s going to be a success as camping season begins this January.”
