KINDHEARTS at a finance company shared a dose of festive goodwill with youngsters and staff at a Bury nursery.
Staff at the Financial Options Group had looked to help out 15 families across the borough in recognition of their 15th anniversary.
The Lowercroft Road firm has a charitable foundation in memory of Betty Pepper, mother of their chief executive Christian Pepper.
And one of the organisations they contacted was Hoyles Nursery in Chesham Fold Road.
Headteacher Rachel O’Neil, early years practitioner Chelsea Owen and colleagues told them they couldn’t single out a family for assistance.
And so Mr Pepper offered to make a donation to the nursery to benefit a wider circle.
Before Christmas, a spokesman said: “This has enabled the school to assist many families, in what is proving to be a very difficult year by providing a gift for every child, a free raffle for various food hampers and gift vouchers in order to ensure that all the children at Hoyle Nursery School have a wonderful Christmas.”
Nursery staff thanked the group, which is also a regular supporter of Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, for their generosity.
