- The schoolgirl was seriously injured and died two days later in hospital.
- Andrew Cairns, aged 36, of Rupert Street, Radcliffe, is on trial at the Nightingale Court at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester.
- He has admitted causing death by careless driving but denies causing death by dangerous driving.
