POLICE have issued a statement concerning the crash which shut major roads for seven hours in Whitefield on Friday (April 8).
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police has confirmed that there were "no serious injuries," sustained by anyone involved in the collision.
A section of Bury New Road in Whitefield, between Church Lane and Radcliffe New Road, was been closed in both directions due to a police incident, as reported by Transport for Greater Manchester.
The road was finally reopened at around 9.30 pm.
Greater Manchester Police did not provide information about the incident, or the number of vehicles or people involved.
