Tottington council offices, 1950s
This photo, probably from the late 1950s, shows the rather splendid Tottington Council Offices.
The home of Tottington UDC was situated in the former Tottington Hall off Market Street.
The Grade II listed building was originally the home of the Nuttall family but was virtually rebuilt in the Nineteenth Century.
