Police are searching for man after a woman was verbally abused outside a polling station on the day people voted in the local elections earlier this month.
Officers have released a picture of man they want to speak to in connection with the incident, which happened outside a polling station on Horne Street in Bury at around 9.30pm on Thursday, May 5.
PC David Green, of Greater Manchester Police's Bury district, said: "We want members of the public to feel safe in our communities at all times - this includes voters outside polling stations.
"I appeal to anyone who knows this man or even the man in the image to contact us so we can establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident."
Anyone with information should contact police on 0161 856 8204, quoting incident number 513 on May 5.
Information can also be shared anonymously via the independent charity - Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
