One of Bury’s newest café bars is expanding with its second café opening in Brandlesholme.

Cosalea, based on Walshaw Road, is extending its offering to include a second daytime café at Killelea House on Brandlesholme Road.

It will open to provide high quality food and drink to all café customers and create a vibrant hub to be enjoyed by local residents.

In September 2020, Cosalea launched on Walshaw Road, Bury as a new place to eat, meet and create.

Its aim was to offer high quality food and drinks in a fresh, welcoming social space for the local community to enjoy and it quickly built a reputation for being one of the best eateries in the area.

Owner Lisa Moore is now delighted to expand this offering at the new venue on Brandlesholme Road.

She said: “At Cosalea, the local community is at the heart of everything single thing we do - being there for our customers is what we love and what we do best.

“We’ve built a loyal base of regular customers who love nothing more than popping in for a coffee, something to eat and chat with our friendly team and one another.

“Killelea House is the perfect place to help us continue this fantastic service, and we can’t wait to welcome staff, residents and the public to see all we have to offer.”

In October 2021, the café was granted an alcohol license and after a full refurbishment reopened as a high-end café bar offering a menu of beers, wines and sharing platters.

Cosalea has since become a popular establishment for both daytime breakfast and lunches and events, as well as an evening and party venue.
