Police reportedly stopped a motorbike rider who was driving uninsured.
Officers stopped the rider in Radcliffe today, Saturday, and said he had let his insurance run out and was yet to pay for a new policy.
Police also seemed to suggest that the rider was still doing his compulsory basic training (CBT), and had failed to display his learner plates while riding - a legal requirement.
Police have warned other motorcyclists in similar positions not to make the same mistakes.
Sharing a picture of the bike on social media, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police Traffic said: "The rider of this Suzuki GSXR was stopped in Radcliffe by XB61.
"He had allowed his insurance to expire due to non-payment.
"Make sure you check you're in order to ride before setting off, and make sure you display L-plates if you're riding on a CBT."
