Star guitarist Aziz Ibrahim, known as "Lord of the Strings", will be playing live at a popular record and coffee shop in the town centre.
Wax and Beans on Market Street has announced that guitar hero, Aziz Ibrahim, 58, will be performing at the shop in October.
Known for performing with The Stone Roses, Simply Red, and Asia as well as playing, collaborating and co-writing tracks with star Ian Brown, Aziz’s show in Bury is one to be greatly anticipated.
Lord of the Strings, Aziz, was the guitarist for the last Stone Roses performance before they split in 1996.
He is committed to community causes, providing music therapy for hospice patients and has had his efforts recognised by the Queen.
His contributions to the economy, culture and music industry were officially recognised at a ceremony in 2005 at Buckingham palace with Brian May, Jeff Beck and the Bee Gees.
Aziz is also a recipient of the UK Jinnah award, for outstanding achievement in music
The performance will take place on October 8, with on-the-door tickets set at £12, or £10 in advance.
There will also be access to buy Aziz’s vinyl EP "Middle Road" featuring Paul Weller, Mani, Denise Johnson, Mike Joyce and Rourke.
