An investigation is underway after an alleged series of burglaries that police are treating as “linked".
The burglaries are believed to have happened on The Spinny, Sergeants Lane and Philips Drive in Whitefield on October 19 this year.
Police have now released an image of a man they hope to speak to as part of their investigation.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Officers have released the photo of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a series of burglaries in Whitefield, Bury on October 19 2023.
“The burglaries were reported on The Spinny, Sergeants Lane and Philips Drive and are being treated as linked.
“Anyone who knows this man should contact the Bury Neighbourhood Team as it's believed he could have information that will aid the investigation.”
The images released by police show a dark haired man dressed in a baseball cap and a dark coloured coat.
Officers have appealed for anyone with any relevant information or footage, including CCTV, mobile or dashcam footage, to call them on 0161 856 8222 quoting incident number 003314 of 19/10/2023.
Alternatively, witnesses can call independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police have advised that people avoid burglaries by ensuring that windows and doors are locked at all times.
