The functional sports hall is prominent on Hall Park Road.

The building would be replaced with four cottages designed in a traditional style and built with traditional materials.

The development proposed is the creation of nine small one and two bedroom holiday homes, following the demolition of the sports hall.

The proposal comprises four holiday homes with two bedrooms in a one and a half storey terrace along Hall Park Road. This terrace will replace the sports hall. The gym building will be converted into five single storey holiday homes with one bedroom each.

The holiday homes will use the existing entrance onto Hall Park Road. An existing car parking area will be used to provide parking for the holiday home, and for an existing cottage which is on the frontage of Hall Park Road.

Between the holiday homes will be pathways providing access to the rear doors and rear garden areas divided by hedges.

The existing home to the north of the sports hall will be retained and used as a holiday home. This building will be extended with porches and changes to the fenestration on the eastern elevation.

There will be internal changes to split it from the sports hall and to improve the internal layout.
