A fire broke out at a borough shop in the early hours of today, Friday.
Police and fire crews were called to The Fireplace Shop on Bury Old Road in Prestwich after the blaze began after 1am.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) has confirmed officers were called at around 2am and witnesses say police vehicles remained in the area until at least mid-morning.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is not yet known, with forensics officers seen at the site.

An eyewitness told the Bury Times that the shop looked as if it had "burnt out" and saw investigators "in white suits".
He added that he saw a van which appeared to contain sniffer dogs and that fire crews had already left.

A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Just after 1.40am on Friday, firefighters were called to reports of a fire involving a commercial building on Bury Old Road, Manchester.
“Four fire engines from Whitefield, Broughton, Agecroft and Manchester Central fire stations arrived quickly and used two hose reels to extinguish the flames.
"Firefighters worked alongside Greater Manchester Police to make the area safe and were in attendance until around 11am.”
