A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm at a property in Bury this morning, Thursday.
Armed police and a tactical aid unit were seen on Barlow Close in the early hours with officers searching the house due to a firearms-related warrant.
A man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Police reportedly left the area just before 2pm.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “It is a firearms-related warrant and a house is being searched in connection.
“A man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. The scene was closed shortly before 2pm.”
