A man has been taken to hospital after a fight broke out near to Radcliffe Primary School.
Police were called to Coronation Road after reports that there were two men fighting outside an address at 8.40am.
One man received a cut to his leg and arm and was taken to hospital where he remains for treatment.

His injuries aren’t thought to be life threatening or life changing.
It’s understood that the area was cordoned off whilst police were dealing with the incident.

A spokesperson for GMP said: “At around 8.40am yesterday morning (Thursday 17 October 2024), we were called to reports of two men fighting outside an address on Coronation Road in Radcliffe, Bury.
“One of the men received a laceration to a leg and an arm, he has been taken to hospital and remains there for treatment.

“His injuries are not described as life-threatening or life changing.
“A man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of a Section 18 assault and remains in custody for questioning.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
