Two men have been arrested as police crack down on crime on the Metrolink network in the borough.
Police were sent to the Besses o' th' Barn stop yesterday, Tuesday, working with Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) and Metrolink on a joint night of action.
During the operation, two men were taken into custody on suspicion of a number of offences including theft and damage.

A police spokesperson said: "Officers from GMP Transport Unit have been deployed at Besses o' th' Barn Metrolink stop tonight (Tuesday).
"Our officers worked alongside colleagues from the Travel Safe Partnership including TfGM and Metrolink to ensure that you have a safe journey on the network.
"During the operation two males have been arrested for offences including theft and criminal damage.
"If you see our team deployed on operations like this, please have a chat and let us know of any concerns you have.
