Eight people have been fined for fly-tipping or littering on the streets of Bury this month.
Five £400 fixed penalty notices (FPNs) have been issued for fly-tipping and three £75 FPNs have been handed out for littering
The council said the offences were committed at Rochdale Old Road, Hornby Street and Andrew Street in Bury, Grosvenor Street and Rupert Street in Radcliffe, Brandlesholme Road in Greenmount, Sergeants Lane in Whitefield, and Beechcroft in Prestwich.

Some 200 fines have been served up for littering and fly-tipping across Bury in the last three years, and more than 20 people have been prosecuted in court.
Cllr Alan Quinn, cabinet member for the environment, climate change and operations, said: “We will continue to take action against those who dump their rubbish on our streets and green spaces.
"If anyone witnesses these crimes, please give us all the information you have and we will act.”
