On May 13 1984 my sister received a kidney from a donor from Bolton.
She was told it was from a young man who had unfortunately died in a motorcycle accident.
As the 25th anniversary of her transplant approaches, we would like to sincerely thank his family and let them know that my sister is a proud mother of two and has a successful career as a theatre nurse in East Yorkshire.
