WITH regards to the letter, “Dog owner’s details passed on” (May 11), congratulations to this person, who took time to write to the paper and take the details of the person whizzing poo bags.
Surely, leaving dog poo and whizzing the bag and its contents are two illegal actions?
Perhaps the dog wardens might like to go down Redcar Road in Little Lever, especially around 6.30am.
One guy watches his dog poo all over the children’s football field. The couple with the two nasty, muzzled dogs watch them poo and turn away too. Would photographs of this be taken as evidence?
Dogs have a raw enough deal in this world without getting blamed for people’s lack of concern for others.
Thank you again to the letter writer of May 11.
Also, if Sandra Brown, who wrote the letter, “Why not write a book?” (also May 11), is too sick to read the paper then perhaps she should watch the TV.
Isn’t The Bolton News giving reporters and the public an honest chance to pass on information.
Surely that is what papers do, and The Bolton News does it so well.
Long live the letter writers and Mr O’Connor. People who care.
