Bury Cancer Support Centre has been given a helping hand by a local business.

The staff at Clough & Willis raised £100 by donating money to the charity instead of swapping Christmas cards.

Shefali Talukdar, Clough & Willis’s Managing Partner, and Practice Manager Karen Hastie presented the cheque to Stanley Gilbert and Lynne Marland from the support centre on behalf of all the staff.

Shefali Talukdar said: "Bury Cancer Support Centre is a fantastic charity and all the staff work incredibly hard to ensure that patients receive the best care and support.”

Bury Cancer Support Centre provides support through complementary therapies, information, and the friendship of other patients and of staff.  The centre is available to anyone living in the North West who is affected by cancer whether as a patient or a carer. The centre is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10.30am to 4.00pm.  People do not need an appointment or a doctor’s referral but can just drop-in.  The Centre can be contacted on 07899 990260 or see www.bury-csc.org.uk
