BOLTON comic Peter Kay is at the centre of a major Blackpool Lights switch-on row.
It was announced on Wednesday that Kay was expected to flick the famous switch alongside Dale Winton at tonight's Illuminations extravaganza.
But tourism bosses "backtracked" yesterday revealing the Bolton funnyman will only be making a "personal appearance" - leaving Dale Winton to pull the famous lever.
It has left even the town hall's own tourism chief bemused and angered hotel chiefs, according to the Blackpool Gazette.
