A SOFTWARE company is enjoying a period of amazing growth.

Bury-based Centu Consultancy Limited, a finalist in The National Family Business Awards, has achieved just over 860 per cent growth in turnover compared to the previous year.

The firm, made up of husband and wife team, James and Michelle Inman, recently came to the end of its third financial year. The firm has created seven jobs in just 12 months and hopes to continue to expand its team throughout the latter part of the year.

James Inman, managing director and young entrepreneur of the year finalist in the E3 Business Awards, said: “Our bespoke software solutions for businesses, charities and the public sector have led to a brilliant year and our expert team continue to take us from strength to strength.”

Michelle Inman, operations director, said: “Our enthusiastic, talented team make us what we are and we’re proud of each and every one of them. We look forward to creating more local jobs again in the near future!”

Centu offers paid summer placements to students at local educational establishments such as Bury College.

Louise Putland, work experience placement co-ordinator for Bury College, said: “Centu have offered and continue to offer great opportunities to our students to gain a real insight in to the world of IT. It’s a vital part of our students’ education that they experience the world of work and Centu have supported us with work experience, summer placements as well as attending careers events.
