RADCLIFFE Dynamics youngsters showed their talent at a packed show at the weekend.
Lewis Godfrey led the way at Radcliffe Civic Suite with a points win against Patrick Donelon of Wigan ABC at 60 kilos and his example was followed by fellow 15-year-old Ben Thornley who beat Richard Popham of Rawthorpe ABC at 70k.
Abass Khan, aged 17, meanwhile, beat Lancaster ABC fighter Josh Fisher at 56k, but there was disappointment for Arsian Zubair, 16, who lost on points to Bolton’s Gloves ABC lad Adil Ali at 62k.
Ten-year-olds David Mawdsley and Hajeed Khan, both took part in skills bouts with Rehnan Afsal (Bury ABC) and Liam Pastore (Gorton ABC), respectively.
The Dynamics gym is run by former British and Commonwealth Champion Ady Lewis and coach Mick Haslam.
Anyone interested in trying out boxing should visit the gym in Water Street, Radcliffe, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, starting at 6.30pm.
