TOTTINGTON Sea Anglers from the Wagonmakers travelled to Weymouth to fish on charter boats Fish On and Snapper, with nine anglers on each boat.
The group fished on Saturday and Sunday in fine weather, flat seas and sunshine, and the fishing was good all round with Bass, Tope, Pollock, Blonde Ray's, Bull Huss, Dog Fish, Conger, Turbot and Black Bream all caught.
The Black Bream were plentiful, as was the Bass, however they could only take one Bass per session each.
John Wensley had a good battle with a Porbeagle shark, which the skipper thought could have been in excess of 150lbs, but the fish beat him as it bit through his 200lb line.
The next trip is to Conwy to fish on the boat Gwen-Paul-M on Sunday.
