FOUR teenage Bury ABC boxers will fight in finals of the National Association of Girls and Boys Club Championships this weekend.

The finals take place on Sunday at Tameside Elite Boxing Academy with the quartet, trained by Mick Jelley, all bidding to be crowned champions.

Three of the four were already qualified and were joined by 16-year-old Abdul Khan who was victorious in his semi-final at the same venue last weekend.

Fighting in the 52-54kg Class B section, the youngster won on a split decision against Liam Pastore from Roy Richardson’s Academy.

Joining him on finals day is Kian Winstanley, aged 15, who will box at the 63kg Class A level.

Sixteen-year-old Ali Javid is in the 63kg Class B final while senior Ibrahim Nadim, who is 19, fights for Bury at 56kg in Class C.
