RADCLIFFE have appointed two interim managers until the end of the season.

Garry Vaughan and Darren Lyons have been drafted in to take charge of Boro following the departure of Jon Macken.

The former Manchester City striker stepped down citing a difference of opinion with the board about the direction of the club.

Vaughan is a former Trafford manager and oversaw their rise to the Northern Premier League from the North West Counties before also having a spell in charge of Ramsbottom United.

Lyons worked with Boro head of football Karl Marginson at FC United of Manchester and was part of the coaching staff that helped them rise through the divisions.

Boro, 10th in the BetVictor Premier Division, are without a win in their last six games after Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Bamber Bridge.

Radcliffe next head to Morpeth on Saturday.
