BURY AFC are looking for a team of volunteers as they prepare for life in the North West Counties League.

The phoenix club will play in Division One North with the league set to commence on Saturday, September 5 – although that date as yet to be formally confirmed.

With the season drawing closer, the club is looking for assistance – either from Shakers Community members, those who have actively volunteered before or those who want to take it up.

It is likely that limits will be placed on the numbers of fans who are able to attend at first while all of football comes to terms of dealing with social distancing in and around grounds.

The club is in the process of reviewing the guidelines delivered so far and, in respect of these preparations, it is looking at what will be required to host a match day and require volunteers in a number of areas, including: turnstile operators, parking co-ordinators, access stewards (controlling the various gates around the ground), programme vendors and administrators to help ensure they club is compliant with league rules.
