PRESTWICH are fourth in the GMCL Premier Division after winning at Astley & Tyldesley

Sam Holden’s 76 and Alex Taylor’s 4-15 did the damage as after posting 156, they restricted their hosts to 133.

Prestwich are right in the mix with the top four separated by just six points.

In the middle of the table Woodbank brought themselves to within three points of Egerton after a two-wicket win.

Egerton posted 207-9 and Woodbank made it home with one over to spare as Gavin Nicholl made 82 and Jack Wynn finished unbeaten on 59.

In Premier 2, Stand won a rain-affected, low-scoring affair by 45 runs at home to Bradshaw. After making 138-7, Chris Williams (4-28) and Adam McGladdery’s (4-15) restricted the visitors to 93 all out.

Joshua Rhodes took 4-16 as Woodhouses were all out for 137 and despite Deswin Currency making 41 Walshaw were all out for 104.

Bury went down to a four-wicket defeat at home to Flowery Field.

The hosts were restricted to 145-6 with Mukhtar Nasir top scoring with 61 but Flowery got over the line with three overs to spare.

Elton fell eight runs short in their run chase at home to Winton despite pro Asif Zakir’s 84 and Edenfield also lost batting second, going down by 37 runs against Heaton.

In Lancashire League Division One, Ramsbottom enjoyed a three-wicket win at Crompton.

The hosts batted first and scored 199-8. Big knocks from Jacob Clarke (63) and captain Kieren Grimshaw (61) then helped seal victory.

Greenmount are third in Division Two after beating Bacup by eight wickets.

Callum Hunter took 5-40 to set up a routine victory.
