SHAKERS legend Andy Bishop will be supporting the Help Us Kit Out the Nation campaign at Bury Market tomorrow (Friday).

Bury AFC officials will be at Bury Market all day to meet as many people as possible and collect any clean, bagged sports kit that aren't needed to distribute to children who need it, through schools in the Bury area.

Bishop will be making an appearance to meet those making donations and help man the stand.

Anyone donating sports kit will be able to claim a free ticket to a Bury AFC game by providing an email address and mobile number when they drop off the bagged kit.

Season ticket holders can use this for Cup games.

The stand will be next to Halle Square, opposite Upmarket café, and behind what was Bennett’s Butchers shop.

Bury AFC merchandise will be on sale on the day.

Kit Out the Nation’ is a month-long BBC Make a Difference campaign aimed at taking in and distributing unwanted, good condition sports kit and getting it to children and teenagers who need it in England.

Bury AFC are one of a number of football clubs, nationwide, committed to helping.
