MATT Tipton has admitted he may of played his last game for Bury after agreeing a four-month loan deal to rejoin his old club Macclesfield Town.

The Welsh striker rejoined the Silkmen after failing to start a game this season, largely because of a niggling groin injury.

He was excluded from the squad to face Grimsby last weekend and admitted that he knew his future looked bleak at the club.

"I have spoken to the manager and from what I gathered, I ddin't fit into his plans at the moment," he said.

"I had a couple of offers, but I know Macclesfield Town, I know the manager and I am determined to go there and do a good job.

"I realise I probably haven't lived up to my end of the bargain at Bury - but whether I will get a chance to change that, I really don't know."

Chris Casper resisted the urge to add to his squad on transfer deadline day, but could still add to his squad before Sunday's game against Peterborough.

Out-of-contract trialists Scott McNiven, Daryl Taylor, Wayne Carlisle and Dwayne Courtney could join the Shakers even after the deadline.

The Gigg Lane club did receive a small financial boost, however, when former youth teamer Colin Kazim-Richards moved between Brighton and Sheffield United.

The club had inserted a sell-on clause in his contract when he left last season which is thought to have earned them around £8,500.
