Bury Billiards League new boys, Bury Snooker Club, remain the only unbeaten team following their third successive win and they now have a two- point lead over their nearest rivals. Prestwich Con Club moved into second place following a 4-1 victory over Walmersley Con Club.
They are closely followed by Dobbies S&SC A who also won 4-1 while both Seedfield and Walshaw slipped down the table. The two teams from Rochdale also met with Norman’s Snooker winning by the narrowest possible margin thanks to a tremendous victory from Aaron Davies which included a break of 45.
But this was not the highest break of the evening as Andy Lester had a break of 49 at Prestwich. At the bottom, Elton Liberal B are still seeking their first win, but Dobbies S&SC B managed their first success this week by defeating Elton Liberal Club A.
