RADCLIFFE Central A overturned a first-leg deficit to beat Huntley C 5-3 on aggregate to win their semi-final in Bury and District Open Snooker League’s Arthur Dykes competition.

The A Section champions won the crucial final frame of the night at Huntley in the first leg of the semi-final before winning all four frames against the C Section champions in the home leg.

They will meet Bury Snooker D, who were too strong for Salisbury B in the other semi-final.

Tottington D made the Jim Brookes Pairs final after beating Walshaw 3-0 and scoring a massive 280 points in the process.

In the John Spencer semi’s, Elton Lib C had a great 3-2 win over Radcliffe Central A, while Central’s B team had Ben Adams to thank for their final frame victory over Bury Snooker D. Bury needed just one ball from the final four to clinch the tie but Adams came up with a clearance from the blue.
